Date: 6-10 October 2025

Location: Tirana, Albania

Mark your calendars for 6-10 October, because the Tirana-based 25th edition of the conference will include a session moderated by ELABORATOR partners.

Our session

The session will be titled “Exploratory walks as a tool for co-analysis and pedestrian-centered urban planning”. Below are the details:

  • Date: 7 October 2025

  • Time: 14:00 – 15:30

  • Type: Walk shop

  • Format: Interactive workshop

This interactive workshop will present how exploratory walks can be used as a co-analysis and intervention tool to assess and improve urban spaces. Rooted in the principles of inclusive mobility, walkability, and equitable urban planning, the session engages participants in a hands-on experience of walking as a method for urban critique and transformation. With exploratory walks already in use in the EU-funded ELABORATOR project, this workshop will benefit from the experience of the project and allow participants to look at their context to apply the methodology, as well as provide feedback to the project and other participants.
