Date: 30 September - 2 October 2025
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
The European Commission's main conference on urban mobility policy, Urban Mobility Days (UMD), offers the perfect setting for networking, discussion, and exchange on important European urban mobility policy issues with academics, industry, local governments, NGOs, policymakers, and urban transport practitioners.
In the context of the new European Union priorities ("A new plan for Europe's sustainable prosperity and competitiveness" and "Supporting people, strengthening our societies and our social model"), urban mobility is positioned within the framework of the UMD 2025 conference. Throughout the conference's three days, which are devoted to urban nodes, cycling, and public transport, the intersecting themes of competitiveness, innovation, and tourism will serve to highlight this topic.
The exhibition area will feature five thematic stands, each hosting up to 10 EU-funded projects.
The thematic stands include:
Stand 1: Urban Nodes and Multimodal Hubs – Connecting Europe’s Transport Network for Seamless Mobility
Stand 2: Active Mobility & Road Safety – Enhancing Cycling, Walking, and Inclusive Mobility for Green Cities
Stand 3: Integrated Public Transport Systems – Connecting Rural and Urban Mobility for Climate-Neutral Cities
Stand 4: Smart Urban Innovation and Logistics – Advancing Competitive and Sustainable Mobility Solutions
Stand 5: Sustainable Tourism and Mobility – Green, Inclusive Travel for Local Economies and the Environment
The ELABORATOR Project will be at the UMD in Vilnius, as part of the CIVITAS UPSD cluster booth at Stand 2: Active Mobility & Road Safety – Enhancing Cycling, Walking, and Inclusive Mobility for Green Cities
Stay tuned for more info and insights after the event! Until then, take a look at the programme.
