
Overview
Deliverable D4.1 defines how ELABORATOR can organise, connect and share mobility intervention data collected by different cities, methods and technologies. It introduces a logical data model and common taxonomies for quantitative and qualitative information, including stakeholders, co-creation activities, interventions, indicators, devices, datasets and publications. The framework is designed as the integrating layer of the ELABORATOR Data Marketplace, supporting secure searching, aggregation, analysis and visualisation. It also explains how open standards, privacy controls and stakeholder-specific access can make data usable across Living Labs. For readers, it provides a practical foundation for building an interoperable urban mobility data platform.
Highlights
• A five-part architecture: Data Providers, a central Mobility Intervention Data Framework, privacy-preserving data-sharing mechanisms, analytic processors and Data Consumers structure the flow from city data to analysis and visualisation.
• Flexible city integration: Cities can use a local marketplace instance or retain their own SQL or NoSQL systems, connecting through standardised application programming interfaces and adapters.
• Open and interoperable standards: The framework adopts FAIR data principles, General Data Protection Regulation requirements and FIWARE models to support consistent and reusable data exchange.
• Shared taxonomies: Common classifications for stakeholders, co-creation methods, interventions, key performance indicators, devices, processors, datasets and publications support alignment, communication and search across cities.
• Three data classes: The model distinguishes co-creation material, intervention-definition data and evaluation data, combining metadata, references to external repositories and selected directly stored information.
Conclusion
D4.1 is a design framework rather than a report on implemented city impacts. Its practical role is to guide Task 4.2 in building the secure and privacy-preserving intervention data platform. Once implemented, the framework is intended to connect data hosted by different cities and support the comparison of pre- and post-intervention information during co-design and co-evaluation.
